About This Route

Rennradtaugliche, landschaftlich abwechslungsreiche Rundfahrt von Paderborn zur Aabachtalsperre und zurück. Auf der Hinfahrt kommt man vorbei an der Wewelsburg und der Klosterruine Böddeken. Durch das »Tal des Friedens« mit der Meinolfuskapelle und einem Soldatenfriedhof führt die Strecke an der Abschiebehaftanstalt Büren vorbei ins Aftetal. Nach dem Aufstieg zur Staumauer der Aabachtalsperre geht es weiter über Fürstenberg zum Kloster Dalheim. Nach der »Bergwertung« in Ebbinghausen folgt eine schöne Abfahrt mit einer kurzen Schotterpassage.
