Via Fracigena Nord #3 Bolsena-Bagno Vignoni

From Lago di Bolsena, the route climbs up into the hills. Along narrow paths on the mountainside to San Lorenzo Nuovo. There are some ascents and descents mostly on paved side roads before the route joins the SR2 at Ponte a Rigo and follows the main road for several kilometers. The road steadily climbs to the highest point at Radicofani, situated at 814 m. Then follows a fast descent along winding country roads down to Bagno Vignoni.
