About This Route

Aus der ehemaligen Abraumbandtrasse zwischen dem früheren Tagebau Bergheim und dem Tagebau Hambach entstand inzwischen ein rund 14 km langer kreuzungsfreier Rad- und Freizeitweg - der "Speedway :terra nova". Wo früher Unmengen Erde und Steine durch die Landschaft transportiert wurde, lädt der asphaltierte „Speedway“ heute zum gefahrlosen Rad fahren.
