Nice route that seems to feel like it's almost all downhill. Almost though, as strong cross/head winds occur on the flats from Abingdon to Brighthampton - although these are not constant for that part of the course.
Abingdon and Witney do slow you down with traffic filters and the roads in these towns leave a lot to be desired. While I liked the break (I used this course for endurance work above my lactate threshold, basically splitting Abingdon>Witney and Witney>Kiddlington into two separate runs.) you can avoid Abingdon and the trouble spots in Witney by going through Foxcombe Hill and Hardwick>Sutton>South Leigh respectively.
Also, the roundabouts before Hinksey Hill are stressfull, just ride through this part as quickly as possible.
