About This Route

This ride follows the escarpement North from Montville to Flaxton and then on to Mapleton, a distance of around 9km. This is a popular tourist drive so be conscious of the conditions and ride single file where applicable. At Mapleton we turn left for a long and enjoyable descent through beautiful forrest and into open flats of dairy farms. Next stop is Kenilworth at around 45km. Then heading to Connondale where the ride concludes.
