If you are downtown or live along 9th Street you may be interested in this route. There is a marked bike lane on 9th Street running from Vermont to Mississippi Street. It can be tricky to cross traffic to get to Mississippi, but once you get on Mississippi it is a straight shot to campus.

**Hint: When you get to the Union parking garage you can take the elevator up to Jayhawk Boulevard if you want to avoid the steepest part of the Mississippi hill.**
