Większość trasy wzdłuż kanału to mocno ubity szutr, który nadaje się również dla rowerów trekingowych. Profil trasy jest zupełnie płaski, jedynymi przewyższeniami są nieliczne wjazdy na mosty.

Część powrotną znad Zegrza poprowadzona jest małoruchliwymi, bocznymi asfaltowmi uliczkami.

Trasę tę polecam w szczególności w gorące letnie dni, gdyż przyjemny chłód pozwala cieszyć się piękną pogodą.
