About This Route

Lewes (Henlopen State Park) - Bethany Beach.

Strongly suggest to skip the Henlopen State Park to Rehoboth part and park at Dewey Beach (junction route 1 and 1A) and go to Fenwick Island State Park or even to Ocean City. The Junction and Breakwater trail thru the Henlopen State Park is nice, however the surface is not really appropriate for road bikes (unfortunately). Also, the crossing of Rehoboth is not really interesting and this area is crowdy.
